This free mobile streaming app is tailored for activists and citizen journalists. It is unique because: a) it is fully integrated with the Twitter social graph. The user can chat with Twitter followers directly from the capture screen while he streams - interacting with his audience. Viewers can ask questions, request shots and keep the user informed about events on the ground. b) If the network connection drops off, the app automatically switches to a caching mode where it saves the video to the phone for later resynching. To test this feature, press on the BATTERY ICON of the capture screen to toggle the "no network" simulator (click the battery button to get out of that simulation) c) In-stream still capture: just click on the screen while capturing video to take a photo. Add the photos to your Twitter posts to make them more engaging and drive visits to your feed. Some notes: 1) In the capture screen, press the "battery" button to simulate the network signal loss and how the app caches. 2) I'm thinking of getting rid of the invitation elements for the MVP - and just relying on the Twitter social graph for now and focusing on image capture and playback. 3) Core user experience: I'm thinking of getting rid of the caching feature for the MVP and just build an app based on the chatting interface. Hoping to hear feedback about : 1) simplicity of interface 2) general design tips. 3) Best strategy to build an MVP. Thanks!
