Tap/Hold the black circle to see the 2 state animation of the Keezy sound looping app. A circle of circular buttons spins out onto the expanded black circle that becomes the screen background. Once you're on this 2nd state, tap anywhere to return to the initial state. I recorded a webinar showing how to create this interactive animation: http://docs.proto.io/videos/re-creating-bespoke-interactive-animations-with-proto-io-2/ You can also find the assets here used for the prototype. Enjoy!

Designers can use their favorite design tools like Photoshop and Sketch to design the finest details of the user interface for their app. Single or multiple touch interactions can be applied on any UI element (layer) on each screen. Sophisticated animations can be created on-screen as well as screen transitions, using the powerful timeline animation features that Proto.io offers.

Tumblr has a very nice series of animations that happens when you enter the compose mode. I thought it would be interesting to recreate this in Proto.io to show others how to achieve these kind of effect in their own protototypes. I have made a companion tutorial video where you can see exactly how I did it. This video is available here: http://docs.proto.io/videos/recreating-tumblr-compose-animations-in-proto-io/

Get the position of a scrolling container

If you need to get the Y position of a vertically scrolling container, create a text box. Then on the container scroll trigger, set a variable that evaluates the numerical callback value from the event (Y position). Then add a callback that changes the text property of the text box by reading from the variable.
