I created a prototype of the UBER app for Android in order to demonstrate what is possible using Proto.io. This project was a massive undertaking as my goal was to simulate the user experience of what it would be like to order 4 different UBER cars in San Francisco. This is a custom tablet prototype of my take on a popular carnival attraction called the shooting gallery. I wanted to show everyone how versatible and powerful the Proto.io tool is and demonstrate that anyone can make video games using Proto.io. This one-screen prototype demonstrates some of Proto.io animation functionality.

Basic shapes like rectangles, lines, circles, text and more are available and they can be dropped on the canvas to create the very first draft of a mobile app in order to demonstrate the flow and functionality of the app.

If you need to get the Y position of a vertically scrolling container, create a text box. Then on the container scroll trigger, set a variable that evaluates the numerical callback value from the event (Y position). Then add a callback that changes the text property of the text box by reading from the variable.

This is an example of a Navigation Bar that disappears on any downward scroll and re-appears on on any upward scroll.

Number pad designed for easy re-use. I saw some dialpad examples in Spaces, but I felt that they had way too many moving parts (the circles, the numbers, and the hotspots were all separate) and it was impossible to easily reuse because the circles and numbers were assets and changing look and feel retired changing the assets. So I created this as a completely re-useable dialpad and I have included a few color pickers as an example of how to manipulate the properties quickly through variables.

I created this prototype of a wildlife photography app to experiment with horizontal and vertical scrolling interactions. What do you think?
