Custom Android KitKat Scrollable Tabbar

Tap/Hold the black circle to see the 2 state animation of the Keezy sound looping app. A circle of circular buttons spins out onto the expanded black circle that becomes the screen background. Once you're on this 2nd state, tap anywhere to return to the initial state. These are the new prototypes for Floracaching. They are based on four co-design sessions, two at the University of Maryland and two at Brigham Young University.

I simulated a 10 second timer that counts down from 10 to 0. This is very simple to do. All you need to do is change the text property of the text value with a custom value and include a delay of 1 second. Then add a callback for the next number with a delay of 1 second. Repeat this until you get to the number 0. There is no need to use variables to simulate a timer. I've put together a quick demo of a menu idea for a mobile website or app. It only took me 20 minutes to build the entire prototype. Feel free to import and dissect.

The recently released Google Inbox app is a re-thinking of the email inbox experience that beautifully demonstrates Google's material design interactive animation language. This prototype focuses on the compose button's animation. Click the + to reveal a new state where a wave of buttons and labels float up, and the + becomes a pencil icon. It uses two states, with staggered animations.

This is just the regular user interface. The introduction and underlying technology are not displayed due to intellectual property. The desired effect here is to show the app's powerful ability to promote local business on any mobile display even one as small as an iPhone 5. New smartphones have much larger screen sizes usually ranging from 4.7" to 5.5". So, showing that the tech works on an iPhone 5 helps us prove this point.
