A demo showcasing Windows 8 components.

This is a UX design prototype for Pandora's Android app (from October 2014), adding a "Driving Mode" and lateral navigation between stations from the Now Playing screen. I took a challenge to redesign Pandora's Android app or add features at my discretion. Focusing on the Now Playing screen where users probably spend most of their time, I identified two areas in which I wanted to improve its UX: station identification and navigation, and its user experience while on the go. This is just the regular user interface. The introduction and underlying technology are not displayed due to intellectual property. The desired effect here is to show the app's powerful ability to promote local business on any mobile display even one as small as an iPhone 5. New smartphones have much larger screen sizes usually ranging from 4.7" to 5.5". So, showing that the tech works on an iPhone 5 helps us prove this point. This prototype is a simulation of one part of the Pandora iPhone app. I have chosen to simulate the part of the app where the user selects a Pandora radio station and then proceeds to select that station. What I have demonstrated is how how the radio station animates from a small entry on a list to a large full screen entry and vice versa.
